So Many Bands, So Little Time!

AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! It's been soooooo long since I last updated and I have so much shit to tell it's not even funny. I don't wanna put down too much tho coz no one will read it, lmao but I'm mostly here to tell about my past 3 gigs and how I met a few famous peoples!! I think I should start at the beginning, eh? Yeah that's a good idea. Indeedy.

Well first off the James Blunt/ Boy Least Likely To concert was FUCKING MINT! The Boy Least Likely To was sooooooo fun to watch and Audrey and I were freakin out and singing all of the lyrics. Everyone around us thought we were nuts and they kept on looking at us, the dumbasses behind us were making fun of us AND the band. Fuck 'em, lol. One women next to me kept on asking, "Who are these guys?" Boy am I glad Alex got me into them. AND LISTEN TO THIS!! Remember me saying how he got to meet the band about a month ago? Well when he met them he asked the band to give me a shout out from the stage! Sadly enough they forgot U_U and it's funny coz I sent them a message on their MySpace and Pete, the singer, replied! He kept on appologizing, he thoght I was in Chicago. Aaaawww!! But holy fuck me...if the band would've said hi to me on stage I would've died. I didn't know what to say! Alex is a fucking sweetheart. James Blunt was just as I expected him to be, gorgeous, small, and HE HAS THE BEST VOICE!! The crowd went nuts and just loved every minute of the show. When he played, "No Bravery" the entire place fell silent and a screen dropped and they played a lil movie that he shot while he was in the army. Real heavy stuff. But wow! I still can't believe I saw him live. Too bad our seats sucked, they were in the upper balcony. X_x That's ok tho! I got a few crappy pics that you can see later on when I post the link! =p Oh and Audrey and I saw a few crazy hobos while we were waiting to go in, LMAO.

Next up we have the MAGIC NUMBERS GIG! HOLY CRAP. I went with Sarah on the 31st to the Magic Stick in Detroit and I drove us there. It wasn't too hard and I was very proud of myself for doing a good job. Anywho we get there and they let us in at 7:20 PM where the first band, the Elected go on. They're from Alaska and weren't too bad! The guy had a great voice and they were sorta mellowish? They got a few people dancing which was cool. Around 9PMish the Magic Numbers went on and Sarah and I were in the front, we were right next to the stage! We could've reached out and touched the band, hehe. So they went on and played a fucking brilliant show!!! I was singing all the lyrics and dancing around like a manaic. They played 3 new songs that I ADORED and they just got the crowd going. Towards the end they did this sweet half an hour rock out with the other band, a few of the members came up on the stage and just jammed!! It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen, they really got into the music. So after it was over Sarah and I waited around about 15 minutes and then the band came out! We got to talk to each member and took pics, they autographed my t-shirt that I bought! They were sooooooooo nice to us and I loved their english accents, hehe. Romeo (the lead singer) was so nice to us! And Angela and Michelle even went in the back to grab the drummer for us to meet coz we couldn't find him. I felt special! Then the drummer asked if we were going bowling and he invited us to come along but we had to get home >.< Damnit. Oh and Romeo said he saw me singing all the lyrics! I was too happy. Then on the way out were walkin down the sidewalk and Romeo followed behind us and called out as he reached the tour bus, "Hey guys, thanks for coming!!" We turned around and freaked, lol. He's so nice!! WOOOOOOOOOO.

Last night I saw Josh Kelley and his kick ass band in Cleveland at the House of Blues! Jenny got a speeding ticket on the way there for going 25 over the limit. She was going 90 in a 65! AAAAHHH. We got there ok and the support band was good, it was this tiny girl named Alexis Joe? Or something like that she was real good! She was sorta....Nora Jones ish, very soulful voice! Josh went on about an hour and a half later and HE WAS SO GOOD! He had a lot of energy and was dancing around the stage, his band mates were really fun to watch as well. All of a sudden in the middle of the gig the band starts playing "Take me Out" by Franz AND I FUCKING FLIPPED! I was screaming the lyrics and jumping around like crazy.Ah that made my night!!! But he did my other favorits like Amazing and Almost Honest and hot damn was he gooooooooood and SO GORGEOUS!!!! *Drools* At the end his drummer came back out and did this kick ass drum solo and Josh came back out and played the drums himself! I was so happy. After the show was over the band came out and we got to meet them all!! When I got up to Josh I said hi and he signed my ticket and I asked for a pic, as I was going behind the table he starts saying, "Here's my girl, here's my girl!" I started laughing and then he squeezed me tight for a pic! I don't think I could've been happier =p I talked to him about playing Take Me Out and he said he loved that song and we talked about it for a moment. Jenny told him she got a speeding ticket and he said he did too so they were even, I laughed! I got to take pics with the rest of the band and Dave, the guy in the hat and sunglasses was sooo nice he gave me a giant hug and squeezed my waist =p He was all flattered when I told him we drove 2 hours to see them, he just looked at me and said "Aaaaaaaaaawwwwwww"!

But yeah those are my life altering events of the past few weeks, hehe I think I'm still majorly hyper from it all! It's hard to take it all in so fast. New Hair Color!!

Weelll what's up folks? It's almost been a week since my last update so I thought I'd pop by to say a few things before I head on back to Ownes for my Digital Photography class. Bleh I don't feel like sitting thru a lecture. U_u Anyways how's everyone been? I'm a bit relieved because I turned in my 8-page Heritage paper today sooo that's a nice load off mah shoulders yeessiirree. ^.^ But now I have to focus on my other 8 page research paper...Bbbaahhh it's always one thing after another, eh? I know, I know. Other than that college has been pretty laid back and less stressful than before. We only have about..I dunno 5-6 weeks left before Summer Break so I can't complain too much.

My weekend was also pretty much just laid back and fun. I played a lot of karokee revolution with Aud and I'm surprised her house hasn't started to fall apart yet! Oh but just you wait...I'm sure it will sooner or later. =p Her mom joined in with us on Saturday night and she was pretty good! I had a blast. Also Saturday my mom invited her friend Sue and her kids over to celebrate Sue's birthday. It's going to be a year a go that her husband passed away so my mom didn't want her spending the day alone. It actually turned out to be really fun! We sat around and ate, had cake, and laughed our asses off. n.n I really missed having Sue around so I hope she starts visiting the house more often. Work as just as crazy as ever over the weekend and I just love listening to people talk! Lemme tell ya, it's pretty entertaining and you get a lot of weird people coming into the store so...it's always keeping me entertained. One man was buying a whole set of blue glass dishes and bowls and what not and as he was walking away he said, "Yeah I've got lots of blue dishes to go with my blue food! I'm gonna eat blue food.....blue food.."And I just sorta looked over at Audrey and she gave me the funniest look and we laughed after he walked away. Crazy. Later on Sunday I called Alex <3 and we talked for a while which was great. He finally got a new job at a store called Asda, it's about 5 minutes away from his house! No more McDonald's, and he's going to be making about double what he did at MccyD's. So that was fun.

Last night was kickboxing and I'm a tad sore from it! I even went on a walk with my mother aftwards which was cold but relaxing. When we came back I had her dye my hair BLACK! YEESS and I think it looks really snazzy. Whatcha think?:

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Don't ask? I was feeling rather goofy at the time I took the picture so shut it. But yeah I love mah new hair color, the blonde was growing out and the purple kept on fading so I said I'm done with it, DONE! For now that is...hehehehe. But yeah...OH and I boughts a new cd by The Coral and it's really good. Love 'em. Oh and one more thing before I go...
